u have a sharp eye sir

are they classed as mods lmao

Good buy I think, I bought mine in Feb, 54 plate, 26k for £7300. But yours has v.good mileage!

Very low mileage for the age - owned by an OAP? Probably you paid more for the low mileage which isn't necessarily an advantage on a diesel with lots of short trips or town driving/lack of use not really benefitting them!

So is it just under four years or just over? - 4 years is cambelt change time, for such low mileage!

tell me about it, car is just over 4 years old, so yes time for a belt change. have sourced a belt and tensioners for just over a ton, so my next free weekend will be busy lol

I Got a bargin with mine then :D, i got a black 55 reg with 50k miles and cruise control last month for 7000 :D

Sorry, gonna side track here....

I hope you've got a haynes manual and skud's guide printed out for reference. It is a relatively straightforward job but you do need the crank locking tool. I managed without but, I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ANYONE TRYING THIS WITHOUT IT!!

Also make damned sure the cam locking pin (6mm drill bit) is correctly and positivley fitted before continuing. Mine was a complete PITA to get lined up and popped out when i loosened the tensioner, although i managed to salvage the situation.

If things do go wrong, don't forget about the timing mark on the flywheel that can be viewed by removing a small rubber bung at the top of the gearbox casing.

Good luck

Oh yeah, Tidy car by the way mate

I hope you enjoy yours as much as i am enjoying mine :D
