Rear suspension

Featured Replies

Hi,

Was driving down a lane and heard a noise like a stick/ log had been dragged round the wheel arch and found this on my driver’s side rear suspension. Have enclosed a picture of the other side as well for reference. Would this fail an MOT? Any suggestions of what I should do with it?

Thanks,

Jim

Hi Jim

I am not a expert, I would say yes it would fail a test, but its only the shock absorber's rubber has split.

But if your MOT is due I would change them as a pair

Radiotwo

It wont fail and MOT, bumpstops are not covered.

Pretty common, dead easy fix.
