Hi I have a 02 vrs and noticed a pipe is split see pic, can anyone tell me what is for and is there anywhere on the net to buy a new one or will it be a visit to the dealer.

Getting pretty common these days. I would think the vac pipes under the inlet manifold are probably in the same condition.

And Phil they are now £30 unless you can wrangle a bit of discount

Fitting is simple just get three 20-30 mm jubilee clips and swap it over.

i replaced the pipe under the manifold today, you get a noticable hissing noise followed by the engine management light coming on!

i think i may have the same problem with mine, it's missing like mad untill you cane it, no engine light on yet although i had it cleared last week (fault code 17545) for low fuel presure i think it was, can't remember exactly!

gonna have a look when my engine has cooled down, no burned hands here!!
