One-click question

Featured Replies

Hi all, just spoken to someone on ebay selling one of these for a Fabia VRS, as an incentive they were offering to plug the device in to your car to try out the map !!! I was under the impression that these devices were locked to a specific ECU. The guy states that he'd plugged it in to his sisters VRS and his fathers Golf TDi and they worked ??? Are One-clicks locked to a car or not ???

perplexes, Rob

He's pulling your leg matey, the OneClick is coded to the car and cannot be moved between ECU's without a costly return for reprogramming.

AC

they store the chassis number and also only have one set of matched ECU maps in them as well. so even if the chassis is the same and the map on the ECU is not the same as either of the onces stored it will not load either.
