I saw a reversing camera advertised a couple of months ago, I think it might have been in "What Diesel". When puuting the car into reverse the rear view mirror became the screen.

Thought about one of these, but came to the conclusion, when i reverse i look all around and not just at the rear veiw mirror, so hearing a beep dosn't stop you from looking around and possible safer.

get out and look before reversing.

Had one on a Civic which uses the Sat Nav screen when reverse is engaged. Found that distance was a little difficult to judge at first. Guess a 'belt and braces' job would be the ideal with both sensors and camera. Still no substitute for looking although a camera covers any blind spots.

Mind the bollards out there!
