Hi,

When is the fuel filter meant to be replaced? Every 2 years/20k miles?

Also the description for it says "Fuel filter: Replace (vehicles with diesel engine with fuel operation, which does not comply with standard DIN EN 590"

Does this mean that it is not necessary?

I'm confused!

Not sure how often it needs changing, but my local skoda dealer quoted me almost £20 for one!!

Every 40k. 20k for vehicles using low grade diesel (or bio).

I don't suppose you know how often the Element/Pollen filter thing is meant to be changed?

if you dont then .....well i dont have hayfever so i just left the old one in there :eek:

Pollen filter is every 20k or two years.

Two pollen filters available, one that is pollen only, the other pollen and odour.
