Strut Brace Querie?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Hope you can help. I'm planning on getting a strutbrace fitted next week in my marthon modding session but just wondering will it have to come off again to get springs fitted, I'm just trying to think logestical weather I should get the springs fitted first or the strut brace.

Hope you can help.

Think so.

yeah it will have to come off......there not that hard to fit but it's proberly worth fitting with the springs unless you fancy seeing if it makes any diference to the car or not ?

Cheers Lewis mate, well my plan is to get the brace fitted next week and the springs either the day after or the following week, but might say it to the boy who is fitting the springs that there is a brace fitted as getting it done elsewhere.

Your not doing the brace yourself?!? It's dead simple and it'll save money as well (more for the wedding fund!)

I'd just get them to pop the brace on while they're fitting the suspension. Seeing as they're working in that area and removing the strut bolts, it shouldn't be any extra hassle, or any extra cost if they're being reasonable :)
