Red X's

Featured Replies

Is it just me or is anyone else unable to see smilies and avatars?

Same on home and work PC.

Cheers

No mate, not just you, me and others too.

There's a thread going on in 'Site Issues' top of forum.

Some technical speak (I don't understand) in there that may help you:) (smile smilie)

The issue is now resolved, you will however need to force refresh the webpage to get the images back due to cache settings in the html.

for IE, press ctrl f5 at the sametime and the page should refresh complete with images.

Done that, but only :) that one works??

thats really strange. I had the same problems as everyone else and the ctrl f5 fixed it.

Odd, as Brisky was fine at work but when I got home (using the same laptop as at work) and I'm getting the Xs. Most odd

Ctrl+F5 seems to have cured it though...

Still no luck with Ctrl F5,some icons next to thread descriptions in main forum page

are visible, but only :) visible in posts??

Only post icons working are smile, talking, thumbs up, light-bulb and exclamation.

These don't show/useable in actual posts???

confused.

For those still experiencing smilie problems, following totally fixed mine.

Click on 'post reply' below,

Disabled smilies still 'red x's' in smilie board.

Click on 'more' at bottom of smilie list:

Expand full smilie list to full screen:

Disabled smilies still red x's - now do the Ctrl F5 refresh.

Full smilie list should now re-populate, with all smilies operational.

This was the only proper fix for me, hope it helps:thumbup::):P....
