Great deal, car hasn´t been run in yet. How come such a little mileage?

Thats a brilliant price! Bit scare to see how much your car is worth!! As thats the same age and spec as mine! :(

there car has been at the dealership for a couple of months now. It was priced at £14,995, then dropped to £12,995 and then i managed to haggle an extra £250 off that and get £40 of diesel. I just couldn't say no.

Shame its not black but at least silver won't show half as much dirt.

I've been looking at buying an octy for a yr now so to get a powerful engine and top of the range spec for such a small price, i cudnt resist

well i havent actually got it yet, just paid the deposit. tbh, i wanna sell my furby before i collect the octy. There's a couple of things im gonna have to do to it though. Swap those boring 16" vega wheels for maybe some 18" Zenith, put some tint on the windows and most probably change the sound system.

But yeah, when i collect it of course i'll post some pics

sorry! thought you'd already got it :o

Are you sure they are Vegas? The Elegance comes with Vegas as standard, I thought the L&K has Sputniks - http://new.skoda-auto.com/SiteCollectionDocuments/Octavia/LK_Catalogue_ENG.pdf

I'd be interested in buying your Sputniks if you don't want them!

The L&K he bought was an Elegance with the Leather pack...so had the vega's like my old ones.

The new one from 2007 March/April had the sptuniks.

i'd love to get 18" zeniths like yours mate, how much do you reckon a set of 4 plus tyres would cost? did you get yours from dealership?

Not sure...just keep an eye out on ebay to be honest! I'm still running the same tyres that I got on my Zeniths...albeit only covered 11k on them and they were nearly new.

I bought mine from ebay with tyres for roughly £450 and roughly sold my vegas for about £200. So not too much to upgrade the wheels!

I think the ride was much better with 16's tho...but I think thats due to the extra weight and different suspension set up to the VRS. But either way they look much cooler on 18's

have you got the sports suspension? i see you can buy that from dealers now and it doesnt have to be factory fitted.

I'm always searching on ebay but i can only ever find aftermarket alloys with cheapo tyres. if 18"s provide a bad ride i wonder if 17"s are any better...

I wouldn't call it bad, just a tad harsher as the tyres don't soak up the bumps as much.

I've still got stantard suspension, I want the eibachs and fsd setup but can't afford it at the moment!
