hey there, just wondered if anyone know whats up...

when im driving the speedo is completely fine as far as im aware. but sometimes, only sometimes, when im stopped the speedo rises and falls when the engine is idle.

after a rev or two it drops and stays....

any ideas?

Faulty electrical connection, alternator regulator or something similar (the speedo is electronically driven as far as I'm aware) - someone around here will probably have a much more accurate idea than me, though. I'd start looking at the alternator regulator, though. Or the wiring loom, as the early fabias had a reputation for vulnerable wiring looms as far as I'm aware...
