KVW100 Auto windows

Featured Replies

Ok, so I know this topic has been covered lots of times, but I can't find a definitive answer on whether you need to buy one of these KVW100 modules, or if you can use VAGCOM to turn auto windows on.

If anyone can advise me, as obviously I would rather sort someone out a drink for doing it for me than paying £30 odd quid for a one time use module..

Any advice is appreciated!

VDC PRO?

Would you mind telling me what this is??

:)

VDC PRO is an old DOS program that allows you to read and change eeprom values in the central convenience module. You can get it from Vagproducts together with the correct cable to enable autowindows. They also sell the KVW100 which is an easier way to do it.

And you need a laptop/pc with a serial port iirc, and if you balls it up your convience controller will be borked (I think)
