new screen, leaking? wheel arch

Featured Replies

hi,

although i no longer have an Octy, my mate has, and has just had the windscreen replaced under warrenty (delamination)

now he has noticed that the fiber cover behind the wheel arches are "wet" and dripping for some time onto the drive for quite a while after it rains...it appears the rain off the screen runs down behind (somehow) and drains out onto these....on both sides...

is this normal and/or were they blocked before the screen change?

ta:O

Most cars drain off behind the front wheel arches, all of the vauxhalls i've owned have.

Except the coupe which the expansion tank decided it was going to perish on the turbo return and break off and **** coolant everywhere!

Seems quite normal to me.
