Treated myself only a fews weeks after buying a Panasonic FZ18:O:O:O

The Panasonic is a lovely camera but I wanted more, even though I have no idea what i'm doing when it comes to photography:rofl: I'm going to have fun learning.

Just need to recover from the groin kicking swmbo gave me for buying another camera. I told her it was Scuff's fault for showing off his fantastic pictures and Anonymouse's fault for encouraging me. She had no idea what I was on about and booted me in the nuts some more:rofl:

Anyway, had a little play tonight. Nothing much to photograph in the house at 10.40pm so took a couple of close up shots of some cars. I need to go out at the weekend and fill up some SD cards:D Watch this space for some pi$$ poor photography:rofl:

These days, I just book in to hospital at the same time I buy a new lens. I'm currently looking for a good used wheelchair to go with the Canon 500mm f4Lis I got last week.

Ha ha welcome to the club, I had a Sony Alpha A100 as my first DSLR:D but wanted more after about 9 months. I wanted a Nikon D300 but that would have made me have to change all my kit and Swimbo would have noticed the change from Sony to Nikon. So I p.exed the A100 for an A700 and got away with it! I have about 3 Gadget bags already each has its uses but I wanted a bigger Crumpler Daily bag and knew I would have some explaining to do when it was delivered from Germany, luckily the same night she asked my advice on some new shoes and I agreed that they would look nice and she should treat herself. Next morning I told her about the bag saying she has way more shoes that she never wears than I have camera bags. RESULT!

After seeing the amazing results of Scuff's expensive lenses she caught me looking at a Sony 300mm F2.8 G lens at £4889 Trouble is its grey in colour and I could never get away with that. Cant even think up a story to try and justify it.............Over to you Scuff.

Canon sell touch-up paint for their grey/white 'L' lenses, you could always buy a pot and say you wanted to 'look like a pro' so painted all your current lenses

"I've had it for ages - didn't you notice" - normally work for a couple of nanoseconds while you leg it.

I don't get that far. Recently, as soon as I've said "I love you" I'm asked "What did you buy this time?".

"A new lens so I can take wonderful photos of us to put in a frame" almost worked...
