Just ordered my fabia

Featured Replies

Just wanted to say that my wife and I have just ordered our 1.4 tdi 80 estate 2 and wanted to thank everyone who has responded to threads and posts regarding any worries and concerns we had. We ordered it and 5 days later the wife decided she wanted fog lights so I went back to Claybank motor company in eccles to see if they could change my order. They did too. Thumbs up to them. I thought they'd say no and that I'd have to have them retro fitted by them for £40 extra plus fitting. Got a great deal from them so I'm really really pleased with them. Should have it in 10 weeks or so!!! :)

Glad to hear, hope the wait won't be to long for you.

I hope 007 gets a better mileage than you are getting? OO7 I am sure you will be more than content with it, not still to late to upgrade to a '3' ?

I have had my 1.4 TDI for 2 months now having replaced an A class diesel auto and I am more than satisfied with the Fabia quality and performance. My last Skoda was in 1977 a coupe R it was terrible.

well the 2 came with everything we needed. we opted for met paint, curtain airbags, side strips, mats, flaps and fog lights. All other stuff isn't required, so we're happy with what we have ordered! Let's hope we can get 60 mpg from it!!!

That's good news. The estate is great, I love mine. It's tardis-like.

It will be the longest 10 weeks of your life, but well worth the wait.

Excellent choice, I'm sure you'll be happy.

Just remember that the fuel economy increases over time! :)

You won't regret getting the Fabia2 TDI PD 80. That engine...it's superb! The space inside...just enormous for it's size. Enjoy!

Yes I second that, what a great car :)

Good good :)

Hope you enjoy it!

I was interested in your remark about fuel economy. I have a six month old 1.9 fabia estate. I did keep a note of fuel use in the beginning.I will check again on the next pitstop..

I agree they are great cars, such a pleasure to drive and lashings of power

if you need it.

I went to Claymore but they offered no discount so I went to Drivethedeal. I got the same model as you.

You may consider getting the reversing sensors they are welll worth the money.

You have made a good choice.

Claybank matched the drive the deal price i took with me plus lowered the interest rate too. Plus it was a PCP agreement so we get 3 years free servicing too. As I said already but just to confirm... BIG THUMBS UP TO CLAYBANK MOTORS!!!

P.S plus I wouldn't have somebody driving it to my house, no doubt leathering it all the way. Or pay about £300 to have it delivered on a low loader. Instead I got the whole pick up chat and spanking new car with only 12 miles on it. Fantastic!!!

Drivethedeal are very good, they delivered my car 200 miles on the back of a trailer but if Claymore matched the price then you got a good deal.

yes i just picked up my 3 1.9tdi estate, from Robinsons Skoda in Norwich, did my a great deal and got the 3 years free service, very good service too, which has to beat the internet people.
