Re-map by Powerflow?

Featured Replies

I'm getting a re-map by Powerflow in Newcastle shortly and as it is right now my car is standard (1.8t 20v) so 180bhp and was wondering how much the re-map would increase it by. Anyone have a clue cos i don't?, i'm new to all this car modding stuff but eager to learn.

I'm also getting a cat-back stainless at the same time as the re-map and my mate says that alone should add around 15-20bhp, is he correct?

Thanks in advance.

Why on earth have you picked a company to re-map your car when you don't even know what performance increase they will give you?

Spend 3 months reading stuff on here and elsewhere and then make a decision.

The wrong choice could cost you £££££££s

Use the search button and have a look at other forum members opinions on their own remaps, but to echo Andy, why do you want to use somebody that you know nothing about?

As for 15-20 bhp gain from just a cat-back exhaust, sorry, but no you will not see that gain from just a cat back.

I know a couple of people who have had a remap done from there and they say there pretty good so i'm basically just going taking there word for it. So i haven't totally gone in blind and they arent the first place ive looked infact the first place i looked at quoted me £499 wheras powerflow quoted me £270 with other quotes in between.
