Headlight condensation

Featured Replies

I've noticed condesation in my headlight it's only on the one side (drivers)

they are xenon and the car as just run out of warranty a month ago and I dont fancy having to buy a new 1 any ideas would be most helpful.

Check your back overs are on correctly.

Take a damp tea towel and lay it over the front of the headlight. Main beam on and leave it for a while. This should generate enough heat inside to clear the condensation.

otherwise take it in doors, take the bulbs out and blow a hair dryer into one of the holes.

I had this problem and solved it by taping one of those silica gel packets that you get in new shoe boxes etc on to the back of the headlight cap, inside. It soon dried up :)
