Remote Locking Issue! Please Help!

Featured Replies

The Mk1 vRS has developed an unusual problem! When you unlock the car using the remote key, it opens the drivers side as usual but not the others! (I know you have to click it twice!!!)

When you use the interior button it works fine, also when you put the key in the door and turn it, all the doors open!

On the first click of the button, drivers door opens! On the second click, the car makes the sound like it's going to unlock, but nothing happens!

Any suggestion as to what is wrong/how to fix it please?

All fixed now! I spotted something on cupranet about disconnecting the battery for 15 mins. Did that and all is fine now! :D

My sister just bought a Leon and is having the same problem, remote only unlocks the drivers door but all the other ones stay locked. Also it seems to only recognise the remote if she is standing near the car (my Octy works up to 30 metres away) I will give that solution a try tonight.
