As the Superb has been a long wheelbase Passat from the start that makes sense... So where the SuperbI used a variation of the VW Passat-B5/B5.5(PL45) chassis. Which in turn was derived from the Audi A4-B5(PL45). Getting back on point the SuperbII is on a stretched PQ46 platform. The Passat-B6 was the 1st to make use of this GolfV(PQ35) derived PQ46 platform. Made by stretching both width & length on the PQ35 platform this latest SuperbII has been said to possibly be one "Bridge to Far"...
