Helloooooo Briskoda!

My name is Tabs, currently driving a lardy Golf R32 (APR tuned and full Milltek'd up) Running 13.9 on the 1/4 and should be in this months PVW along with some other MK4 folk for the day we did at Brunters.

As some of you may know I run www.uk-mkivs.net and regularly see a crossover of postings on the Skoda/VW subject. I've been to some of the SeatCupra.net events and met a couple of people from here as well - thought it was time I said hello formally!

Yeah still go now and then but its all died down since the docks got closed.

Thought I saw you the other day out by Lunt on the back road to the bypass? It's a Black Fabia RS you drive aint it?

Thats right. Live in Huyton, work in southport so go that way every morning around 7.30 and home about 5pm.

Not been the cruise since the Evo thing . People started going to prescot yet or do they just stay round wicks?

@ faboka vrs - Must have been you mate! Will have to give you a wave next time I see you (read: if you see some nutter in a black R32 waving at you, its ok your not about to be shot :P )

Yeah some people have been going up to Prescott, although last week everyone didn't bother due to the weather. I only turned up for a bit to pick up some stuff from a mate and then got off. I think the whole things in danger of falling apart now the docks has been shut off (due to another incident - a car actually ended up in the water that time). Ho Hum good while it lasted!

Plenty of VAG meets to keep us all busy tho.

Speaking of which, I'll be doing a uk-mkivs meet in Liverpool soon - open invitation to Briskoda and anyone else who wants to pop along

Will post more details up when I finalise location etc.

Hi new to the site I have just purchased a 2008 superb Laurin and klement edition in dark blue with cream leather 118000 with original wheels athou the wheels need full refurb i think they are diamond cut but maybe someone could correct me could anyone tell me how many were produced in mk1s and are they a rare car I would have preferred the 1.9 as apose to the 2.0 litre but it drives just a good and coud not find this edition in a 1.9 but I don't think they did a laurin klement in a 1.9 tdi but

Generally, i dont like to be one of those people to open up another topic that has been exhausted time and time again, but after extensive research, i really am struggling to find a forum response that matches fully with my issue. I wonder if someone can help me identify the correct OEM product number for a gearbox oil change I am planning. The car is 19 years old and just passed the 50k mile mark and I thought it would be prudent to change the oil when I service it this summer. The trouble I am having is getting any reliable information from online purveyors of oil. I would like to buy original VAG oil. Mine is a 5 speed manual gearbox.

Hi all, I recently ran a ODB II on my car and it’s came up a couple of fault codes, as follows: P20EE Nitrogen oxide (NOx) sensor, catalyst, bank 1 - efficiency below threshold Status: Pending Engine control unit P003D(75) Intake camshaft profile control A, bank 1 - stuck on Status: Test failed, Pending, Test failed since last DTC clear, Test not completed during this operation cycle And to add to this, it’s regening every 100 miles and recently went into limp mode with a coil light on the da
