Stainless steel exhaust...

Featured Replies

Hi every one

my fun has been going really well and i finally had it converted to gas a couple of months ago,not cheap but as i get a good mileage allowance from the company i work for it will pay for itself in less than a year. I havent noticed any lessening of performance because my fun has always been a bit of a slug, but I have noticed it at the pumps as I am now paying 50p a litre..which is great.

Now what I posted for is the following.....

The back box on my fun has just gone, the previous owner had a back box with two pipes. The rear of the box where these pipes stick in,has now rusted and the pipes are now drooping! What I would like to do is to get a basic standard stainless steel back box with one exhaust pipe to replace it ,would i be able to do this and can anyone recommend a national firm or one that could post to me?

many thanks for any replies

I think you'll either be looking at second hand or custom made. Here's one that's got places across the country that custom makes exhausts - Untitled Document Haven't used them myself but they were recommended in a post on here a while back.
