Finally joined the Furby club this weekend and ordered a Brilliant Silver Furby 3 Estate TDi 80 (Colour wifes choice but still nice!).

Mostly due to it being a better car than 3 or 4 others I test drove that were all £5K more expensive but no better to drive or any roomier.

Options: Steering Wheel Radio Controls, Heated Seats (wifes chice again!), Boxes Under Seats.

Waiting to find out a delivery date now - don't expect to get it until October though.

And that makes 5 people in my family who drives Skodas.

Anyway thought I'd say hi as an almost new Furby owner.

What car is the Fabia replacing?

The Furby is replacing a Toyota Corolla 1.4 diesel.

Really liked the Toyota - very well screwed together and nice diesel engine.

The Furby has a bit less power but you don't notice in everyday driving and the estate I'm getting has a much bigger boot than the Toyota.

What really swung it for me was the company car tax is really low for the Furby - saves me £30 a month on the Toyota and I can have a top of the range car with options too!
