Is there much point paying the extra for a full custom remap over the OBD?

Jim, this thread may help you make up your mind, but the best thing to do is to ring Jabba and ask for their advice. The vast majority of the 1.8T remaps have involved chip changes as OBD remapping has only recently become available for that engine. For details of the next group buy, PM SkodiRS and register your interest. If you can't wait, you will still qualify for a 5% Briskoda member discount rather than the 10% group one.

As far as Jabba are concerned the end result isn't any different. All PDs are now full custom remapped via OBD on rolling road.

The only time that the EEPROM will be removed from ECU is if you have a particular standard map. Unfortunately it's only possible to tell once you try to remap.

I think I have 2-3 places left....just PM with your full name, contact number and car type you have.....when you're ready. Would also be helpful to have the year of registration.

If the places are gone I'll start up another one.......shouldn't be too hard to get the minimum number required as quite a few people have expressed an interest in a remap.
