Fabia 100PD Front Splitter and Alloys

Featured Replies

I have searched on the forum for info about fitting a leon/ibiza front splitter onto the fabia, and cant find anything about the 100PD.

I know its possible to do, but i dont know if you need the Leon or Ibiza splitter?

Also how hard is it to fit, or does it just slot in.?

Would be interested to hear back from someone that has done it.

Have seen it on one on Piston Heads and thought it looked really good, and so would like to try it myself.!

Anyone got any pictures of it.?

Also could anyone reccomend some 16" alloys which would look good, and almost standard (dont want them to stand out, just look better).

Thanks

Michael

always the cupra R splitter (leon)

Which front bumper do you have as if it's pre facelift, they don't fit.

16" alloys? Would have to be the stock vRS alloys for me, for that stock look. :)

What do you mean by preface lift.??

Its the one that comes on the 2006 1.9tdi Elegance.

I have been looking at vRS alloys or a while... just need to take the plunge.

When i get new alloys would it be worth me getting it lowered a bit.?

Thanks

Well, the older ones had a very bendy front bumper. Like the one in this shot (but I modded other bits of it) A LCR splitter would never fit this bumper. If you get a photo up of your front bumper, I could say yay or nay. :)

bumper.jpg

here is my car.

will it fit.?

what alloys are you running on yours.?

they look good.!

I'm running VW evolo wheels. Quite rare'ish, and I think the fabia pulls it off with them. Doubt I will ever change wheels.

You've definitely got the new style front bumper, but not sure if you have enough of a straight lip to be able to pull the look off like a vRS does. Could do with a closer shot, in good light, from ground level. :)

I still got my vRS wheels with decent tyres on them, make me an offer via PM if you like, would have to see if I can take them out for pics as it's dark & not near the car at the moment either LOL

Would like to take them off your hands this weekend is poss.??

Also... anyone know it cupra R splitter will fit.?

Looking to order one this weekend if i know it willl fit.?

Thanks again.!

Michael

That pistonheads car does look like the same bumper and it does pull off the cupra R splitter quite well. Have fun fitting one then. :D All being well the instructions for fitting it to the vRS fabia applies to yours as well. It would never go on the pre facelift bumper though.

Yeah thats the one which gave me the idea.

I saw it on piston heads and i thourght it looked really good.?

Do you know how easy//hard it was to fit.?

It'll not be too difficult to fit,

Follow the guide, But you'll need to cut the centre supports down further than you would on a vRS
