Decided on first batch of mods

Featured Replies

Decided what mods i'm going to add to my new silver VRS

Colour coding Handles

Remove Door bump strips

New VRS badges

Whiteline RARB

Vmaxx Coilovers -60mm

And Dotz Roadster 17"

Possibly tints and a black roof too.

Where are the best places for the suspension and alloys? I've also seen something about fitting drop links from another Seat Car? Is this worth doing or will the -60mm Vmaxx replacement ones suffice?

While the suspension is off is there anything else (not to costly) worth doing?

Bushes, brakes, the list is endless

Breaks will come. But not yet.

Polly bushes. Good idea. That shouldn't cost too much. Powerflex??

I wouldnt say brakes were worth doing just cos the suspention is off. Mine stop me well enough.

Right sothe Ibiza cupra console bushes are different from the Vmaxx droplinks.

Should have quite a nice handling car after that little lot.

The bushes and drop links are totally different things. Your front wish bone sits inside the console bush.

The drop link is from your strut to your anti roll bar

I drive as hard as is responsable on the road. Doing my first track day this year, so maybe my opinion will change. Still not sure it would come under the "not to costly" bracket. ;)

312mm brakes are a must tbh

I used to **** myself braking hard coming up to roundabouts on the standard brakes thought id run into the roundabout but the 312mm are spot on everytime

The Ka I used to drive; now that had me ****ing myself braking hard coming up to a roundabout! The standard vRS setup is 100 times better, so I can only imagine how good the 312mm's are

If you need anything fitting let me know.

I actually confused the abs last night and locked up for about a second.

God they were good

With 312's, i found they dont lock up as easy (all to do with pivots and geometrics, which i wont bore you with).

And when abs does kick in, its more controled.

A MUST for track days!!!
