Replacement Alloy's Fitted

Featured Replies

Well I fitted my replacement alloy's yesterday so thought I would share them with you.

They have got a few slight scuff marks but hey for FREE (courtesy of work) with four new tyres I can't really complain.

Centre caps have been orderd so will be fitted as soon as they arrive.

SO what do you think???

You need some centre caps and I personally don't like them on a fabia.

Each to their own though.

Looks good, better when the center caps are on

cheers guy's.

every one has there own taste and opinions.

I agree they will look miles better with the centre's,

hopefully they will be arriving friday.

What size tyres you running?

They look good without the centres if they are painted and use a small centre cap.

The tyres are 215/45/17

Not a bad idea at all, was thinking of getting them painted but not sure yet as I don't know what to go for.

Any suggestion's?

Get a set of black plastic wheelnut covers then use the small skoda centre caps as Lummox suggests - look the dogs ......

FOC wheels = WINNER!!

I like them mate and it's a shame that they aren't 5 x 112.............:thumbdwn:

will give the suggestion a try tomorrow some time and post a pic to show what it looks like,

Baker21 - FOC is the best part about it, its the pro's of working in a breaker's I suppose.

Cheers again for the comments guy's

nice -havent been able to really decide what to put on mine but those I like!

That's why they look slightly odd - couldn't work it out looking at the pics. You should really be running a 205/40 or 215/40. The profile's wrong and you might get rubbing, on full lock or at the rear with passengers.

Oh, and it would look miles better lowered. I ran these on my first Fabia and still like them a lot

Got the same wheels on my estate - center caps havent been fitted yet due to lack of time to fit the vRS badges. May look into getting different center caps in time.

Mine is on Eibachs, the rear still needs doing :o

Didn't have much luck sorting an entire replacement centre cap when I had mine, but I quite liked the look of the Audi ones anyway :)

Steve

i need some centres for my tt 6 spokes, but those look good:thumbup:

Hi.

Thanks for the comment's,

I have tried the wheel's on full lock and had passenger's in the rear with no rubbing either end.

As for lowering that is the next job on the list

How's your speedo accuracy? :rubchin:

Glad you don't seem to be having problems, but the tyres are still the wrong size :)

Steve

Thats why I asked Steve, also thought the tyres looked a little big.

Not sure what you mean by how is my speedo accuracy? should there be something wrong with it?

TWO NEW PICS ADDED.

With the small skoda centre cap and the wheel nut cover as suggested by lummox & geoffb.

What do you think guy's? im kind of liking it

Altering the rolling radius of the tyre affects speedo reading.

Look at the calculator on this page to compare rolling radii and likely speedo reading error Car Bibles : The Wheel and Tyre Bible Page 2 of 2
