Featured Replies

decided that i would like to debadge my vRS

what is the easiest way to remove the badges without damaging the paintwork?

cheers

Been asked plenty of times... but fishing wire/dental floss seem to have good results

hot water, fishing wire, an old credit card, tar remover, rag, polish

Dental floss and a hair drier plus a little something on the paint around the badge such as vaseline or fairy liquid solution to reduce the chance of friction marking the paint.

Then just remove the sticky left behind.

If you take off the skoda badge you will be left with a depression and two holes in the boot, so I'd leave that one.

thanks all :)

looks like i will leave the skoda badge on - i take it that is the round one in the centre, and not the OCTAVIA one?

yeah the centre one is the one with the indentation.

whats the part number for the center badge and how much is it roughly?

Will the fishing line/dental floss technique also work on the front wing spec badges?
