312mm disks fitted

Featured Replies

and what a BIG diference its made

and it only took me an hour and 15 mins to fitt them including bleeding the brakes

now do i wait till i need new pads or just get some ceramic ones now :D

Ceramic NOW.!

You know it will be so fit.

Watch the ceramic/carbon metallic pads if you love your paint/alloys.

They aren't really needed, even std pads are well up to slowing the Fabia down.

Fast work mate!

The 312's are an amazing upgrade for sure - 90% performance of much more expensive brake upgrades at 10% the cost...

Now you can have fun making the front seat passenger stamp on the floor:rofl:

i must admit i was a bit surprised how quickly i got them on myself

however i didnt split the carriers off the calipers and left the pads in also

so i just had to slip the whole lot over the disk and screw in the two 18mm bolts

wasted a few minuets trying to bleed the brakes with a vacuum kit then gave up and used my tusty one man bleed kit ;)

Any reason you say that short of the dust generated?

This maybe a well covered topic but where did you buy these discs from?

i bought the kit from ebay which included disks ,pads ,calipers, caliper carriers and hoses

i ended up not using the hoses as i wasnt too impressed with the condition of them

Thats the reason. The metallic element in the dust welds itself onto your body work if you work them hard and you cant get it off for love nor money.

Thanks :)

I assume the low dust ceramic ones won't do this, but then they may be less than ideal in other ways? :)

If there is low dust option then I would take it.

Brake dust = evil :(

Brake dust = evil :(

Don't I know it. Currently have low dust ceramic compound front pads and there is much less dust than OEM, but there is still plenty. :(
