Hi all hope someone can help???

I have a 04 Vrs Octavia hatch and both front electric windows have packed in within a week.

They sound like they have a box of nails inside the doors and the glass drops when the car is parked up.

I have stripped the passenger door and found a 8 inch plastic pipe with a spring attached lying on its own.

Ive been told they might need new motors each side and they are supposedly 150 quid each???

Is this a regular fault that can be sorted cheaper?????

Hi, that's quite a good price for a combined dooor control unit/motor. Post in the Octavia I section or use the search function and you'll get more than enough information to sort it out.
