Does anyone know anywhere cheaper than the main dealer to buy this part as I'm experiencing the dreaded flickering headlights?

The guy of ebay seems to have disappeared and it looks like it's a main dealer part only.

Have you priced it at a dealer?

Yup It's roughly about £88 if my memory serves me correctly and a deposit which is returned when you give them the part you take off.

I agree it's not terrible - but cheaper is always better

The sensor itself doesnt cause the flickering headlights, it has nothing to do with the headlights what so ever. What doesnt cause the flickering of the headlights is the current draw of the power steering pump. this will always make the lights flicker to some degree but if the battery is getting weak or the alternator is not charging then it will become worse.
