vRS Seat covers

Featured Replies

I am looking for seat covers for the vRS and having some difficulty.

All that I see for the vRS are a "universal" type fitting.

The ones from www.climatecovers.com are a semi custom fit, I guess cos of the bolstered seats.

Other cars have a fully tailored cover available which no doubt will look better.

Has anyone got pics of these on the vRS please?

Or, are the seats in the VRS the same as any other VAG group car that they may do in fully tailored covers.

With thanks, Steve

No one? No comments about seat covers with the vrs seats?

Steve

You could always go for full leather :)

I am intrested in full leather for a VRS estate, can any one tell me the best price i could expect to pay?

Thanks but these are not specificaly for the vrs just for all octy II's. I am concerned that they wont fit the side bolsters very well. Can you confirm otherwise?

Sorry Blind Rudolph. :D

Suggest you give hatchbag a call.

for full leather in a vRS you are looking at £1400, they take the seats out and re-trim them along with the arm rest if you have it

I think you can get it done a lot cheaper than that :D

That's if you get OE Skoda Leather isn't it?

Seat Surgeons in York do quite a roaring trade in full leather interiors for Fabias, mostly vRS as their cloths seats are prone to wear, for IIRC about £850. OK, Octavia is a bit bigger but should cost you less than £1,000.

Have a search in the Fabia forum, there are loads of pics of their excellent work.

I've been after Seat Covers since i got mine back on the road in December - no joy, especially as they also need to be compatible with the Seat Airbags...

hmm i wonder if these seat surgeons seats are compatible with the air bags?

I am sure I read that they could :)

Dan , I hand my Freelander 2 retrimmed in leather a few weeks ago by The Seat Surgeons and I must admit I hadn't considered the airbag issue. I have just today spoken to Paul Hewitt at SS and he assures me that it is absolutely no issue.

BTW I am delighted with the work they did and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. If you want any pics or further info PM me.

I didnt get any in the end, decided to buy a 4wd van for work and not use the Octy after all so dont really need them.

I rang a couple of places to clarify things and they dont seem to make the covers to fit round the bolsters on the side of many sports seats on the sporty variants of cars.

I think it will be suck it and see if you buy any, try and find a stockist and try them out before purchase.

When I spoke to Seat Surgeons to get some idea of full leather for my vRS they were talking around £800 - £850.
