Correct me if i'm wrong but an Octy 1 doesnt have an alarm so you cant activate the chirp.

you are correct my octy does not have an alarm.... i didn't think that blinking as a confirmation need an alarm.

@TDI2002, you may want to edit the VIN and immobiliser serial numbers from your autoscan. Are channels 8 & 9 available?

why do i have to edit the VIN and the immo serial numbers??? even channels 8 & 9 are not available....

i though that with vag con i can do any thing i want (activate/deactivate ... etc) !!

thank you very much but i still don't know what they could do with the VIN. i mean what is the risk that may accure.

Someone steals an Octavia, uses the chassis number and reg you displayed to 'clone' your car. Can get missed for ages as everything would appear ok at a first glance and the reg and chassis number would tie up with the car. Meanwhile someones stolen car is running around probably with no tax, MOT or insurance and nobody is none the wiser.
