I'm trying to establish weather or not the Mk1 Octavia shares it's foot rest with a Mk4 Golf.

The part number from mine is 1J2 419 732 C and it has a VW logo.

Can anybody check? I can't find my ETKA disc and it's not on my computer since a format.

Fitted to Golf 98 to 02

Is it just a black plastic one on the Octavia like the Fabia?

i cant find a shiny one but the number I can find is 1J2 864 417 B for the Octavia

and I struggled to find one for the Golf but think it may be 1H2 864 419 (B41 Satin Black)

The part number I posted is stamped on the back of the foot rest in my Octavia. It does cover the bottom of the steering column too.

Looks like it's the same as the golf, many thanks.
