Hi guys,

Got in the car to go to work this morning to find that the brakes were not working as they should, well almost not at all!! The brake peddal did not move down at all. It was like using the brakes with the engine turned off. Had no warning lights for abs or anything on the dash. Anyone else experienced this?

wasn't there a recall for the brake servo pipe or something?

As above, servo, but also Check the pipeworkto the vacuum pump and the vacuum pump itself.

Well i took it for a trip round the block earlier and now i have the engine management light on aswell and the engine has lost power big time. The dealer seems to think it is the vacuum pump and that the 2 things are related. Anyone else had the same probs?
