Decided to start a mongrel MPG spreadsheet

Featured Replies

God knows why as I don't really care, and am happy that she does a real 50mpg (and a bit). However, thought I'd kick off on the current fuel tank which I crammed in 46 litres using a 5p off voucher. Shall see how it pans out over the next few weeks.

Testing it, if I manage to reach 550 miles before needing to tank up, that will be a 54.4mpg to kick it off.

Why not just use spritmonitor?

Wasn't aware of that site - going to investigate :)

It's the site behind the mpg figures like this...

Have now signed up and started using it (based on estimated 500 miles on current tank - will see how it goes :D)

Cool..

You can also record other motoring expenses on their as well. :)

Another useful feature is if you're looking to change car and want to see what real world mpg figures people are getting. :)

Why even bother telling me that! ;) :P

Am just going to use it for the fuel thing, and see how it goes.

Me.. me.. me.. me.. me.. me.. :P

It was more for the other people reading the thread..:D

if you do a simple spreadsheet you might want to add an option like type of driving e.g. motorway, town, conservative, hard metal so you can see if you have a sudden rise or drop whats caused it and also another column for which fuel/station you used.
