Waxed underneath car (done back in)

Featured Replies

Well it was nice weather so me and the brother in law decided to wax oil both our cars and helped each other. Got the pressurised can with the pressure hose what you pump up and it worked a treat much better than a brush or aerosol

We used the clear but now i am in agony and done my back in and the brother in law has pulled his shoulder :(

We are now on the painkillers and having a few beers :)

Was well impressed with my octy though 10 years old and no rot or rust anywhere underneath and it looks lke she has never been done before (pardon the expression).

How often should you waxoil your car, just wondered as mines holded up well.

how obvious is the clear Waxoil? And how messy is it to do?

I've got an imported 4x4 which was sealed when I imported it, but could do with a top-up in some places. I've also considered doing the Octavia but I'm not keen on the black stuff.

The clear waxoil is spot on better than the black, We bought one 2.5 litre tin of lear wax oil from halfords for £15 and a 5 litre tin for £20 i already had the presure hose but if you need that its £12.99 all you do is screw it on to the 2.5 litre pressure tin pump it up and away you go no need for a brush, then when the 2.5 litre pressure tin is empty just crack open the 5 litre can and re-fill it and pump it up again and away you go.

We did a Nissan Torrano and my Octy in an hour and half.

Its much less messy than the black stuff and it dries clear, People seem to use the black stuff if they are hiding (penatrating rust) or weld marks etc.

I would always use the clear from now on.
