Single din screen with sat nav?

Hi,

Just started to look for a new head unit to go into my vw transporter taxi (Don't worry, the other taxi is a superb!). Looking for something with a screen for dvd's etc but wondering if there are any out there with sat nav, preferably with tom tom software.

Any ideas?

Pioneer has the Avic models, but a carputer is cheaper than one of these systems

I've mounted one in my fabia, and costs me about 750-800 Euro (excluding speakers and power amplifier)

My carputer has GPS navigation, TDT, DVD player, HDD,..... even vagcom

Hey, I have an Alpine IVA-D105R and it is possible to get it with Nav software but it is pricey. It also has the usual DVD, CD, iPod connector, 3 pre-outs and 2 imputs and a radio, of course.

I think it'd be about £800 with Nav (ouch)

Blaupunkt - Navigation Systems - Radio Navigation (E) - TravelPilot Rome Europe is the main one I know of. It's not particularly cheap, but it's not stupidly expensive either (£500+VAT fitted).

Kenwood are doing this package now for around £799. It's the newer version of my screen, and the navigation units run of Garmin. I can't say I've come across any that use Tomtom.
