hello,

where is the best place to find a ignition wire in an octy vrs 2001 model?looking to run a relay and need it to switch on with the ignition

any ideas

so not one of the 30 some odd people who have looked at this post knows where to find a ignition wire in an octy dash is it a secret LOL ...looks liek i'll to look myself...

yellow or red wire from the back of the stereo joel, definitly one there

I used the one on the light switch, can't remember which colour is constant and which is switched though. I just used a multimeter to find out.

yep found one with my mulitimeter today the red and yellow

Under the lower dash (when it's off) there are four large bolt points. Aren't those bolts there so that you can tap off the various key states (off, on, engine running) without hurting wiring? There's a big earthing point in there too for the return leg ...

I could be wrong mind you but I could've sworn that's what they're there for ..
