Would like to say a big thank you to Will at P-Torque ECU Performance Software Specialists

He had my Fabia Vrs in today and I'm well pleased.....

Went for a test drive and knew straight away that she was much quicker, even in 2nd, a previous weak gear IMO..As she was really having problems holding traction....

3RD WAS JUST :):):):):):)

Many thanks.....

fit decent tyres and a peloquin atb dif = no more traction problems, trouble is then you end up wanting more power:D

Hi,

What have you done more too the car than re-map? any modification on the car?

And how much did you get?

+40hp or ps?

Nice that you are satisfied with your car :)

i have a p-torque map, and i too am extremely happy with it.

Great to hear the re-map has worked out well.

However, I suspect that the car was not running optimally before the re-map.

See my much-maligned suggestion for gauging car performance: http://briskoda.net/fabia-i/cage-mod-result-alternative-engine-diagnoserizer/119467/

For me, 1st, 2nd and 3rd are equally as good, if we are talking about how cleanly and strongly the engine pulls through the rev range.

How would your car have compared previously?

I'm thinking about a P-Torque remap, yet to find anything negative about them.

Any idea how much the re-map has increased your insurance premium?

I'm on a very tight budget and need to know.

Depends very much on which insurer you're with. Some refuse point blank to insure such modified vehicles, others will cover just for the cost of document re-issue upto a certain % increase.

Wandering off at a tangent slightly , but do you do remaps on Fiat 1.3JTD engines , and if so what are the likely gains?

Thanks

No idea - my girlfriend is considering buying a diesel Panda to replace her Punto , but it would probably be about an 06.

you'll be looking at gains of approx 24bhp and 50NM of torque
