Damage.......

Featured Replies

Just beeen out to my car and some F*****G idiot had decided to use my bonnet and side as a scribbling area.......not overly impressed.

No CCTV unfortunately...:( thought hey have seemed to leave 'tags' in permanent marker on the other cars but not mine.

They have vandallised about 4 cars round mine too so it wasn't just me....:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Been onto the insurance and they are doing it quick as I don't particularly like the word **** on the bonnet.

The little gits even had time to fill in the letters!!!!!

Not a good start to the week.....

Sorry about this thread, just needed to vent a bit!!

Look on the bright side, at least they signed it with their name  so it shouldn't be too difficult to apprehend them.

Oh hang on it was in Ashford, i take it all back, there are loads of little ****'s around there (just look at the Stanhope Estate )

*I know what they have done is not funny, but i couldn't resist it.*

Holy **** man, that's bad news. Hope it gets sorted quick.

if its just permanant marker you will be able to clean it off surely?

panelwipe, thinners, t-cut. something will remove it.

How permanent's permanent? Judicious use of white spirit shouldn't harm the OEM lacquer.

No, they have used permanent marker for the 'tags' but they have also scratched the paint with keys......swines

The tags are quite accurate as they have repeated it several times on the other cars. I wonder if the law would look at them?

They clearly can't write properly as the first 3 letters are in caps and the t is lower case......

I don't live near that place.....that's somewhere you don't even stop, let alone park up for the night :D (no offence if anybody lives there from on here).

Wasn't there somebody else with the same work scrawlled into their bonnet recently :(

If you find out who the culprits are can I suggest careful use of a baseball bat to educate/show them the error of their ways/persuade them not to do it again?

Little ****ehawks

Not to worry, been booked into the Caffyns (main dealer) in ashford for an estimate by the insurance company.

At least I get a free car for a week....vroom vroom

Hopeit comes back good as new with a full polish and wax! Little feckers - u should now get to go do whatever u like to theirs!

LITTLE F*CKERS.....if you ever catch them (doubtful) then it should be legal to bundle them into the back of a transit van and drive deep into the countryside where the extensive use of pliers and a cricket bat would be employed before driving them to the local foreign legion conscription office never to be seen again.

Trouble is, I bet you this lot are too young to own their own cars. Kids round here have keyed the wifes car twice now - the older ch4vs that actually own their own cars seem to have more respect for others. It's the younger ones that are the PITA.

Sorry to hear mate.

The f***ing cowardly c**ts. That's just not on. I hope they get caught.

Had a better look now it's stopped raining.

The scratches don't look too deep in the bonet, not quite down to the metalwork, but the scratch on the rear panel is down to the metalwork.

Wonder how much this is going to come out at?

Might take a picture of it and send it into Tony Hart & Morf to judge

Can I just add words of sympathy conshine. It really makes you wonder how much lower these kids can sink and why does nobody care or do anything about it anymore?

Some f**king pricks decided to draw some "X's" on my bonnet and draw a line on my passenger door.!

Right outside where I work as well, and in a Public car park.

No CCTV, but my office is in the middle of a chavvy housing estate, so im suprised they didnt take my wheels, badges, dust caps, windscreen wipers etc.

Would my claiming for this effect my insurance.?

Michael

school holidays isnt it! I've had about about 50 kids in over the last few weeks doing stuff, but ultimately they are just gonna go home and be bundled out the door again to be "out of the way" for the evening. Kinda makes my efforts pointless.

Would my claiming for this effect my insurance.?

Yes as its a claim, providing they would payout for vandalism - check their T&C's

Mine covers for vandalism but it doesn't go as a claim as such, meaning that it doesn't touch my no claims at all.

Depending upon the cost, i would think the premium will go up a tad next year?

Think I may just try touching it up my self and then T-cutting it.!

Its not worth me claiming... espesh as i have only just taken out my own policy, and i have no NCB, and really want cheap insurance next year...

Oh well...

Little S*H*I*T*S... if I see any kid get near my car again I will personally cut their limbs off...!!!:mad::mad:

Mine is a bit on from a touch up, the letters are scratched at least a foot tall right from left to right.

They don't seem to have gone through to the metal on trhe front as I went out at lunch for another good look, back bit is adifferent story.
