colour coding grill on new fabia

im not sure if anyone has done this yet so this may draw a blank.

as the title suggests im wanting to colour code the chrome grill surround.

really arent sure how to go about this so any help would be much appriciated.

by the way my car is yellow and im wanting the chrome painted black. dont think doing it yellow will look good

Assuming you mean the MkII Fabia, the grille assembly for this and the Roomster are quite sizeable parts.

The chrome that runs along the bottom edge of the grille is an integral part as far as I can make out. Not sure about the chrome emblem surround. I'm still trying to figure that one out :rolleyes:

i know you can buy new grills from milotec but i dont fancy spending about 90 quid on one (had a look on their website). so there must be a way of getting the existing one off. wether it is then re-fittable is another matter...
