Anyone buying Tyre Weld.........?

Featured Replies

I would recommend getting it from B&Q

I paid £13.99 for a 400ml can in Halfrauds yesterday only to find a hour later the same 400ml cans in B&Q for £5.98 a pop

Promptly got a refund from Halfrauds :D

Damn! It's only suitable for tubeless tyres! SWMBO has been stranded with punctures on Ap0gee Jr's buggy quite a lot lately - that would have been just the ticket!

Use Ultra Seal or Green Slime in the buggy mate, I used it in ours for the Twin's "Snowplough" and it never had a puncture again, I do the same on their bicycles now, saves a lot of aggro in the long run :)

Indeed, I seem to be mending a puncture each week in the kids' bikes.

Horrible stuff. It's only good for 30mph at best, and renders the tyre unrepairable. If it lasts and doesnt blow out. If you value your life NEVER use on a motorway.

Only takes 10min to change a tyre.

I was talking about using it on a Pram or my 6 year olds 14" bicycles mate, if I catch my twins on their spiderman / princess aurora bikes on the motorway I will be having words with them :D
