Just recently brought a Fabia 1.9SDI which i love and get amazing mileage from average 60-67mpg between fillups.

My question is this.

Are the services at a garage different from whats in the Haynes manual.??

I used to rebuild Mk1,2 & 3 Fiesta's when i was 15 years younger so not shy of getting mucky and wanted to save myself a few quid if possible.

Did it come with a service booklet? If so, it's all in there. If not, the SDI is comparatively basic on the mechnical front, so you wouldn't go far wrong following Haynes, I should imagine...

It did indeed come with the booklet i shall have a look when i get in.
