My MK2 VRS Golf...

Featured Replies

After eventually finding an engine om Ian on here, (OctaviaVRSturbo) I had a mate pick it up to fit into my Golf mk2 GTI... I also bought Ians seats and brakes etc...

I have begun to fit it all to the mk2 and it is at the stage where its ready to have the engine fitted into the car... There are plenty of pics on this thread...

South East UK V.A.G forum - My next project... 07-08-08 updated pics!

The front seats look really good in the golf and I am more than happy with them!! Alot of modification but we got one in properly so far.

I am running the Octys Engine and Gearbox with an Audi K04 Turbo setup and aftermarket MBE management. Front mount intercooler, CDA BMC Air filter, deleted SAI and most pipes re-run... I have bought a few little extras to tidy it up a bit such as Chrome rocket cover etc...

Power estimation will be around 250-270bhp mark with around 250lbs torque...

The golf has been upgraded with Eibach anti roll bars, Poly bushes all round, and coilovers to complete the handling package... The brakes will be 4pot Bremsports on 295mm disks and 16" wheels.

Shouldnt be long before its done and on the road... might even pop along to some meets if you guys dont mind...?

Would like to know what you guys think?

Cheers

Mark

Lol Theres plenty about these days thats the problem now, I have done the same conversion without as much power in a mk2 3 times previously and sold them on, but this one is here to stay... The old man has a Diesel Octy too so alot of VAG stuff in the family really. I love mk2 golfs and Octys so what better compromise! Cant wait to get it finished!

Cheers for comments guys!

I am Based in Kent for anyone asking...
