Does anyone know if it is possible to gat a JVC head unit to operate a Sony 10 disc autochanger?

The connections are present and correct on the JVC unit and when switched on you can hear the Sony changer working,but when i scroll through the sorce button on the JVC it misses the changer from its list,ie,

FM,disc,USB,(changer).:confused::confused::confused::confused:

Everything else works fine.................

I dont' think you can as it well probably use different commands.

I have a 12 disc JVC changer if your after a one.

Thanks for the offer,but i`ll probably just disconnect the Sony changer and transfer music to the flash drive for use with th JVC.

If the JVC would "talk" to the Sony,i would have left it connected,but if it won`t its no prob.

Thought i would enquire whilst the dash is apart!!
