Hi all im after a bit of help with alloys please.

I've got standard 16" VRS alloys on my Fabia, i really like the same style of wheel in a 17" on the Octavia VRS. What i need to know is can i do a straight swap with them and will they fit ok? I remember reading somewhere about it altering the Speedo or something but i cant find any thing about it now.

Do you mean the octy spiders off the mark 1, if so they will fit but you need a lower profile tyre 205/40/17 instead of 205/45/16 thats on your fabia at the mo.

yes they are the exact ones. keep seeing them on ebay at good prices. So all i need is a lower profile tyre and they'll swap over with no other problems?

i have found with 215's on if you lower the car they rub away the front arches:thumbup:
