brakes don't feel inspiring - 4x4

Featured Replies

my 4x4 hatch is in having the lpg fitted so I have pinched the wifes passat estate for work this week. first thing I noticed jumping from one to the other is the body roll (130tdi) in the passat its much more pronounced and the seats probably dont help. after that when coming to a roundabout I braked as I would in the Octy and nearly went through the windscreen.... both vehicles have relatively new disks and pads up front and similarly ****ty one on the backs. After looking at the similarities of various other parts on VW/skoda how similar are the brakes and what could be causing the lack of bite on the Octy? what upgrade routes are there? TT?

I put the 312mm discs off a Vrs on my 4x4 and the brakes stop well enough for me, but I don't use it on a track or anything similar, but I do have heavy feet!
