Fabia II Pollen filter??

Featured Replies

I have yet to find out if my new fabia has a pollen filter. There is no mention of it in the owners handbook.

Hopefully there is one fitted just as there is in the Fabia Mk I.....or is this yet anther area where Skoda has decided to penny pinch. Anyone got any ideas?

Just the same place, under the glovebox...

But pic is for LHD...

Thanks very much indeed Irfant....... I have felt the area underneath the dash previously but hadn't recognised anything that felt like a filter housing. I will have to get my head under there and look more carefully later.......will report back what I find later on. Thank you once again for your prompt help, without which I would have continued to ignore looking in that area.

In Roomster, to see the cabin filter frame, you should remove the foam sheet, might be the same in Fabia... ;)

Wow, your are ace Irfant to have gone to so much trouble to provide me with all this valuable information. I have just checked my Fabia and it is exactly as you have described....even to the foam sheet that covers the underside of the dash.

It was this foam sheet that had previously convinced me that there was no access to a pollen filter. There is no foam sheet on the fabia Mk I and the pollen filter is thus easy to find just by feel.

Thanks again :)

You're welcome ;)

A bit unrelated, If someone were to snap a corner off that foam sheet, whats the best thing to glue it back on with? :D
