1 Fault Found:

17678 - Pump-Jet Valve: Cylinder 4 (N243): Regulation Range Exceeded

P1270 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

this fault was thrown up today and the CEL light is staying on!

The car seems to drive fine however!

I have a dragon box fitted (16 setting verison)

it is on setting 13/16 dragon reccomend 11.

should I remove it?

OK I cleared the fault code and turned down the dragon box by 2 settings and added some miller sport 4.

I started the car and let it idle and the light hasnt come on will go for a drive after and see.

I've been having a sporadic and (apparently) symptomless CEL crop up lately. I'd be interested to hear if yours comes back as all my crappo fault code reader tells me is 'N/A'

(seriously considering getting an obsolete laptop for £150 and using it exclusively for VAG-COM... :o )

The box may have been overfuelling the injector unit a bit more. Never seen that fauly crop up before so can't comment with any reasonable accuracy - Definitely never had anything like that myself.

I had the 7 setting box on for ages and never had a fault now I have a 16 setting box and it has thrown this up on setting 13/16 and its been on around 2 weeks.

The car seems to pull just as well though?

I thought the 7-pin ones were newer?

I've turned the box down to the recommended setting

so I'll see if it does it again

tempted to chuck it in the bin now though

If you want anything checking, give me a shout....
