2004 Fabia vRS remap

Featured Replies

Hi,

Considering a remap of my 2004 Fabia vRS. Living in Devon, can anyone give me an idea as to where I could go to have this done, how much it might cost and if it would be worth it? Also, do I need to consider insurance changes and stuff like that?

Thanks

John

I'll reply before everyone can yell and tell you to use the search button.

Not sure about sites for the remap in Devon but there's bound to be somewhere quite close if you google it... or have a look for your nearest superchips dealer through the superchips website.

It'll cost £300-700, yes its worth every penny and yes you have a legal obligation to inform your insurer otherwise it invalidates your insurance... and illegal offense that'll see a hefty fine and penalty points.

I know this is lazy...

I did search, but got got confused and took the easy option.....

Apologies!

John

I had a remap on my vRS and it transformed the car, slight increase in MPG and lot more pull and revs much better. Id recommend you getting a pd160 air intake and a performance panel filter it your gona go for a remap (reduces smoke out the back)

Down your way should be a Revo dealer or a Angle Tunning dealer which are good, cost should be around £300-£400. I wouldnt pay anymore than that.

Paul.

Here's a link to all the Revo dealers in the UK

Edit: also i think Revo offer a 5 hour free trail, so you could see what its like before you buy:thumbup:
