Some Subtle touches to my car!

Featured Replies

Hi just a few pics of some subtle touches to my baby

Proper coloured badge on to engine cover with carbon fibre film behind, Orange strut brace, also coloured badge on top of the milotec grill and sparco aero blades.

All in all i love the coloured badges touches but im still not to keen the the aero blades with the word sparco written on them but will be removed! Having said that aero blades are still awsome!

Opinions are welcomed! :)

Why have your wipers got sparco written on them? I'm confused...

Where did you get that carbon stuff for the engine cover as mines all scratched

As they are sparco aero blades, bought them for £10 each, can't go wrong really. But i have got rid of the sparco label now, so looks more OEM :). Awsome wipers though, love the aeros!!

Its actually a carbon fibre film i put on which i bought from ebay. stuck it on and cut out the shape! :D

i like the engine cover, looks pretty good. :D

You can get proper Bosch aerotwin wipers off Ebay for £20 all in. I just got a pair to replace a £10 a pair set of "aero wipers" that fell to bits way too fast for my liking.

Not sure on the badge in the grille - I would lose it. Like the splitter and the carbon touch is nice. I don't even have an engine cover anymore so can't even contemplate anything like that. :D

That grille is so cheap looking.....really spoils it.

I'm not sure about the badges on the milotec grille, liking everything else though!

Like the carbon fibre look

How did you decide on orange for the strut brace?

Steve

I like that splitter. It looks tidy and not tacky. Where did you get it from? I wouldn't mind one for my black fabia vrs.

Liking the look buddy. Why go for an aftermarket grill that remove badges if you're going to put the badges back on tho?

big thumbs up! looks great

Im not a fan of the milotec grille but looks very good with the Skoda badge on it

Loose the Skoda badge off the grill. Looks so out of place there

Does anybody have any idea where you can get hold of a splitter identical to that one-it looks good and I really want one for my vrs!! Is it a Seat Leon splitter?

I did have it with no badge for a while thne i thought why not put a badge on it to see what it looks like, and i thought it looked quite nice and different. didnt put the standard back on as i didnt wanna spray the chrome black and the for the black plastic running down doesnt look the best in my eyes. but for the milotec grill i got now, i reckon the honeycombe material could of been alot better though maybe then it would look nicer.

i looked at other people Vrs's and that had green, red and black so i thought why not spray it orange. Then when i put it on it was actually matching other parts in the engine like the oil dipstick and the bonnet lever thingy, was quite a nice colour of choice i reckon, only did it to be slightly different from other Vrs's :P

Yes it is the seat leon splitter, purchased mine from ebay, but im sure there are other places that do it for cheaper. Just use the search tool, should be plenty on the splitter

Nice one, cheers for that. I'll have a hunt around for one.
